Nashville street renamed for fallen deputy 25 years after he was shot, killed | News

NASHVILLE (WSMV) – Exactly 25 years in the past, Davidson County Sheriff’s Deputy Jerry Newson Jr. went to serve an eviction whereas on-duty not figuring out his life would come to an finish. 

Deputy Newson Jr. tried to serve the eviction on Briggs Avenue when he was shot and killed at roughly 7:40 a.m.
